About Pride
Our vision for an activist and inclusive Pride:
Lausanne Pride 2026, under the banner of “The right to be you”, is organised by an association made up of 100% volunteers. Most are professionals in the fields linked to their roles, as well as people with associative and community backgrounds. This breadth of experience fuels strong and authentic commitment. Together, we are building a Pride that is activist, inclusive and deeply rooted in current struggles.
Our approach is based on three pillars that guide our vision and our actions: Resist, Take care, and Move Forward.
✊ RESIST
Faced with the rise the far right and discriminatory rhetoric, we refuse to let our rights regress. Pride remains a political space where we firmly oppose the oppression of LGBTQIA+ people. To Resist is to affirm that our existence is non-negotiable.
🫂 TAKE CARE
It is vital to take care of ourselves, of our spaces, and of the most vulnerable people in our communities. We reinforce kinship, the solidarity that unites us, and create safer, more inclusive and more benevolent environments. At Pride, no one is ever alone.
🚀 MOVE FORWARD
We move forward, relentlessly, towards equality that is real – lived and legal. Our fight for a world where being queer means thriving, and never surviving, continues. Pride, like many others, has an ambitious vision ; one of a society in which everyone can live freely, fully, and without fear.
